Ielts test is divided into two broad sections: Academic & General Training
IELTS is divided into four sections:
- Listening – 30 minutes (4 sections, 40 questions)
- Reading – 60 minutes (3 sections, 40 questions)
- Writing – 60 minutes (2 tasks of 150 + 250 words)
- Speaking – 11 to 14 minutes
- Total test time – 2 hrs 45 minutes.
Candidates are judged on a band level of 1 to 9 in all part of the test. These bands clearly mentions a candidate’s capability to use and recognize English.IELTS results are valid only for 2 years.
